While visiting a meat farm in Cambodia, Michael was stumbling in a scene that frustrated most people – a butcher filled with cage dogs was waiting for their fatal consequences. There was a small dog called Sweetie, whose life changed forever that day.
Michael noticed a small, terrified dog stuck in the back of a rust cage in the dazzling and dirty circumstances of the slaughter. Sweetie was silent, her body trembled, her eyes reflect the fear and frustration. He probably endured unimaginable misery during his capture and prison.

The safety journey was too far away. New recovered dogs often carry physical and mental stains. There, Sweetie and others received complete health evaluation, vaccination and treatment for any injury or illness.
