Houston rarely feels temperature frost, but when it is, suddenly cold can be dangerous – especially for stray animals without any shelter. At one of these rare frosts, a woman named Andrea identified a dog when needed. A stray mother named Nixi was walking on the street with her puppy, searching for protection. Andrea knew that she could not leave them in frosty weather, so she spreads into action. As shelters are full and unable to take them inside, he goes back to social media, determined to determine their warm house before it is too late.
His efforts were stopped – after a while, he found a family who was willing to accept the puppy. But when a little one was quick to secure a loving house, no one went ahead for Nixi. As soon as the days were spent, no accepters came forward, Andrea decided – Nixie would be with him. From this moment, he couldn’t imagine letting him go.
On the first night of his new home, Nixi wasted no time for comfort. He was shocked to hold on, as he had finally found a place where he could rest. It didn’t last long before he started showing his affectionate nature. He has a special habit – pressing his back and gently on his knees on his knees or hands, as if he had reached for assurance.
Andrea went everywhere, followed by Nixi, always wanted to be close. However, despite his affectionate nature, a visit to the veterinarian revealed that Nixi had passed a lot more time than that. He detected heartworm, fly infections and other health complexities, the symptoms that he had endured for a few months of suffering on the street.
With time, love and stability, Nixi gently blossom the flowers. Living in a safe environment helped him gain confidence and the fear that once defined him began to fade. Andrea found out how much Nixi wanted for human kindness but it was very scary to believe it before.
One of the things that stood the most about Nixi was his self -esteem. Although his puppy was thick and healthy, he himself was thin and weak. It has become clear that he has given his baby a ounce of nourishment. He confirmed that he had enough food, even in the nursing stage.
The moment they met, Nixi showed her full faith in him. When he saw his puppy safely kept in a loving house, he realized that he too was finally safe.
